Growing up in Lancaster, South Carolina, I was always passionate about helping people. At 16, I faced a tough
challenge. A painful dance injury and bothersome bunions that eventually required surgery. It wasn't just the
physical discomfort but also the embarrassment of ill-fitting shoes and teasing from family and friends.
I understand firsthand how frustrating it is to give up something you love because of foot pain. Dance was my world,
and I pushed through the pain until I couldn't anymore.
That experience shaped my path into podiatry. I pursued a Bachelor of Health Science degree at Clemson University,
followed by my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and dual master’s degrees in Public Health and Biomedical Science at
Barry University in Florida...

in Sports Medicine and Surgery at UCLA's Specialty Surgical Center.
